There's a note on UKC from mid June stating that the parking at widdop is closed off with concrete blocks. Any idea if this is still the case?
-
Yorkshire Water blocked off quite a few carparks at the start of the lockdown, eg Langsett, but last time I drove past it had been opened up again. So I'd guess it will be OK by now
-
Think that is still the case at widdop. Some friends were up there for a walk last week and said so.
Parking seems to now just be happening on the road itself.
-
Even if the blocks are still there there are plenty of places to park along the road. Either at the main parking or as for Scout/Clattering Stones/Gorple etc
-
Thanks for the help everyone, sounds like it's not a problem.
-
To follow up on this, all the parking was blocked with ricks or concrete lego but it was easy enough to park up next to the blocks lay-by style.
-
The blocks have now been moved back into the parking so there's no need to park on the road.

Could they not be Rickrolled out the way?
-
You’ll never give up will you?
-
Clatteringstones parking still blocked by a load of grit boulders which is grade A bullshit imo. One of them could be rolled out of the way tho.
