I'm looking to get some pinches for my 45 deg board and thinking of going for the bleaustone med pinches or some core pinches. Does anyone have these on a board of a similar angle? Any thoughts on which are best?
The core ones seem to come in symetrical pairs which would be ideal for the systems stuff i'd use them for but it's hard to tell which of the holds would be good on a steep board. Pinches aren't a strength but I'm bouldering 7B+ to 7C+ to give you a rough idea of my level.
Also I'll give core a shout but any idea on cost of core holds? I couldn't see any prices on their web site.

Ask them for prices:

Sure they'll be happy to help.

Core are based and manufactured in the UK and are founder members of the Hold Manufacturers Association.

I would go with core personally.

Bleaustone are like well five years ago. Go with Core blimey.

Bleaustone.
Don't really like Core. Too much unneccessary texture. Their pinches look okay but in general Bleaustone have consistently nice texture and designs.

Coulster are you Ali?

Cheers for the info, looks like it'll be core then. Probably go for some of the bleaustone 30 deg pockets though as they look pretty freindly as pockets go.
Yeah Chris it's Ally. I'm not sure I've ever figured out who you are? I'm sure I must have run into some time around Aberdeen though.

Will say Hi next time I see you at wall.

Another vote for core over bleaustone here.

Don't know about Core pinches, but the Bleaustone 30 degree pockets are amazing if you're thinking of getting some - very tendon friendly.

Beaustone is a better name than bleaustone. Like it.

Core holds are the absolute business as far as I am concerned.
