Post by: cofe on August 04, 2004, 12:25:18 pm: my only experience of meeting Will was at ramshaw last autumn - a strong team was out (not including myself), stuff like tierdrop was getting lapped, and Sam W had just done the lefthand finish. visiting german tobias wolf was there at the end of his trip (its the day he fell off rays roof) and was busted - he looked drained. anyway Will was trying to repeat Sam's finish thing and had pretty much done it, i.e. he was pretty high, anyway his heel or summert slipped and he landed pretty much square on his only spotter - tobias (a shit load smaller than Will). i bet that smarted.

so, as well as being a big guy, i got the impression he was a sound guy and i'm sure he's already sadly missed.

i also echo bonjoy's sentiments. peace.

Only seen him a couple of times, once soloing stuff at Tremadoc that we were struggling to lead.
