Anyone got any knowledge on Scarpa Instinct VSR strap repair / replacement?
I've had two pairs now where the strap has ripped in two under fastening. Both pairs aren't that old and I'd usually get them resoled but it's a pain not being able to tension them up.
I don't think I'm even that forceful when I do them up

I've had the same issue: my partner used a a section of a rucksack strap like a patch for the worn part of the VSR strap, attaching it with a sewing machine using a wide zigzag stitch. Probably only useful if you know someone who has a sewing machine and knows how to use it, but if so you're in luck as it worked wonders!

I did similar for some Velcros but ran the rucksac strap the whole length of the strap so the ends didn’t get caught in the buckle. I don’t have a sewing machine so did it by hand and it held up well

I am told Scavenger who are next to the Foundry and Northern Soles will repair the strap on your Instincts.
