I went for lunch at Klein Constantia with a wine pairing. Very nice but their star wine Vin de Constance is over priced compared with a Sauternes or Barsac and is actually cheaper over here. But it did taste lovely with a slightly salt blue cheese and with a slightly salty goats cheese.

Didn't really have time for anymore wine tastings. If I had stayed 1 more day there would have been a good chance that I wouldn't have got home - Munich were showing cancelled flights to Londoon this morning, only 10 others on my flight to Manc, you can see why they would cancel.

I was meant to go back in March but they shut the borders. There was wine tastings sorted for that trip, including having a hire car.

A pity, a day bouldering at the underrated and deserted de Doorns boulders, followed by an amazing meal at Haute Cabriere in Franschhoek was one of the highlights of my time there. And I don't even really like wine.
