Why are some people in fancy dress? When did that become a thing?

I think it's been a 'thing' for teams to dress up since the fist CWIF?  I remember an awesome Big Ron team from a few years ago!

It seems to have been more of a thing in previous years to dress up. This year most people seemd to be dressed in Slovenian or Dutch climbing team strips. Less fun, but probably better for gleaning beta (though I did get some knowledge from the gorilla on problem #24).

The one in the middle could have made more of an effort
