Title: Bowderstone/Red wall conditions
Post by: B0405413 on February 22, 2015, 09:00:39 pm
Now then, the weather's not looking great for tomorrow and I was thinking of getting out, anyone know if the bowderstone/red wall in the lakes are seeping much? Alternatively I was thinking of trying the calf at Ilkley (I'm based in Yorkshire) because I've heard that stays dry. Cheers all.

Actually I've decided to give Ilkley a bash and if it doesn't work out hit the virgin boulder at almscliff. Cheers anyway!

The calf could be seriously cold tomorrow, especially with any wind. Whitehouse/Crimpy roof could be a good shout both dry super quick and. Weather doesn't look  to bad now. Good luck.

Anyone know what bowderstone is like at the moment and likely to be on the weekend. I've never been before and know nothing about seepage etc.

No idea - but looks like the weather was pretty good there yesterday - and set to be a great day today... (lets not mention tonight/tomorrow morning..)
