Have some business near Swansea on Friday and was hoping to combine it
with a sneaky trip to Dinas Rock. Never been before but heard it stays dry / dries up fast. In view of this weeks wet weather is there any chance that the main bouldering area will be dry enough to get on anything?
Cheers

Anyone been recently? Interested in Kennelgarth and Main Crag bouldering....
Thanks!

Someone on the south Wales bouldering fb group said dry yesterday

Skinny Dog is heading homewards (S Wales) tomorrow and wondered if anyone had any connies beta for Dinas?
-
Conditions please, looking for some bouldering Saturday

Apparently on Wednesday, kennelgarth left side was bone dry but right side was gopping. Been no rain since then I think. I'd think it would be worth a punt. A punt that I myself will be taking!

All pretty dry. Few spots of seepage on kennelgarth on the left. Fat cat slots slightly damp. Frickin' cold though. Didn't go up to main crag.

Anybody have an update on Kennelgarth Wall? thinking of going tomorrow
-
Its apparantely perfect at the moment according to someone who had a session today... debating there or ogmore tomorrow
-
Anyone know how Kennelgarth is likely to be tomorrow?
-
We went to Dinas yesterday and the place was soaked. The whole wall was wetter then the sea! Just to let everyone know!

Anyone know whether Dinas Rock is likely to be dry at the moment? Might drop in there later and/or Thursday if things are going to be dry.
-
I haven't been there recently, but from experience I'd say that Kennelgarth would be mostly wet, and the Main Crag stuff mostly dry. Try posting up in the "South Wales Bouldering" facebook group.

Cheers.
There's enough dry at kennelgarth to keep me going. The sitstarts are mostly damp and there's a few wet streaks on the right but there's plenty of dry stuff too.

Anyone know if anything is likely to be dry tomorrow and/or Friday?
I'm driving from the Midlands to visit family who are ~20 minutes away from Dinas. I'll have a pass for a few hours tomorrow morning and Friday afternoon. Is it worth bringing my pads and driving to Dinas or am I better off training at the wall back home before I leave/after I get back?

Anyone been recently? I'm interested in the bouldering at Kennelgarth.
It's possibly wishful thinking that it will be dry, but there's been very little rain in the past week.
Cheers

Likely soaked I'm afraid
There's also a facebook group specifically for this which gets a fair bit of use:
