Has anybody ventured down the dale since this weekends downpour? More specifically. is it all wet again (in particular around Monumental Armblaster)?

i've not been since the last big rain, but been down a few times during last 3-4 weeks at it was always dry even after mega big rain, bone dry. I dunno how fast monumental gets wet though, I'd have thought it was certianly worth a visit.

One of the main probs at this time of year is night/morning mist causing major condensation.

Can't say whether it got wet at the weekend but the whole of the Cornice is still in a filthy state so Monumental is going to take some cleaning...

Shouldn't be all that bad. The bottom is clean from people doing Nemesis and the top is clean from someone (Keith Sharples I think) trying project which joins Monumental for last third.

Monumental was cleaned by Gaz Parry at the end of last week, but don't all rush down there until its been re-bolted. Might head down later this week.

Brilliant news! I suspect it might have to go onto next years ticklist. Fingers crossed we get another dryish year.
