Title: Careless Torque Ground up...

I've heard from several sources that Rich Simpson did this yesterday. Fuckin amazing effort, inspirational stuff.
Should open the floodgates now as there are plenty of others around who are capable - get to it.

Fine effort! I'd heard rumour that he'd fallen off the top move ground up about a week back (glad I wasn't spotting!). Good effort going back up for more after that.

I think the inference on 8a.nu that Ron did CT ground up is incorrect.

also what grade is the top arete? where did 8a.nu get the 7c from? Malc thought 7a+ (think Rich did too)

Dunno, but someone told me 7c too. Think it depends on how tall you are.

7b+/7c sounds a lot more likely than 7a+. I'm sure if it were 'only' 7a+ it would of been done ground up before now.
