Title: Need a new set-up for mixing, digital style
Post by: Mike Tyson on December 15, 2015, 10:30:46 pm
Yo.

I'm currently using a Pioneer Wego 2 and my iPad for mixing, and I've become quite unhappy with it. I've had much better success with a set of original Ergo's and a laptop, so I'm thinking of selling my current set up and heading down the route of a MacBook plus a controller of some description. Have dabbled with NI S2 previously, but just seem to "get" Pioneer gear and the way it works.

Any recommendations?

Some of my friends really rate Serato (https://serato.com/scratchlive/hardware).

DJ Tech Tools (http://djtechtools.com) might be worth a look.

They've even got a recent guide to Pioneer controllers (http://djtechtools.com/2015/10/14/what-all-in-one-pioneer-dj-controller-is-right-for-you/)
