Title: Yorkshire grit trad these weekend?
Post by: Fiend on October 08, 2015, 06:11:13 pm
Any of you beasts injured enough to get on a rope and do some punting? Keen to get the season started and explore some places like Earl Rylstone Ilkley Brimham Widdop etc before it gets too cold/damp at those. I'm after getting some low extreme mileage in but happy to belay / spot on whatever.

Could possibly be persuaded onto Lime / Lakes for a day too though. As long as it's not too shit at the former and not too cold at the latter.

Email at fiendophobia [at] googlemail [dot] com if interested.

Was surprised at how ming the Rough Wall side of Brimham looked on the weekend for this time of year. Pinnacles looked OK though.

I was there on the 31st Dec last year, quite a few things were okay (didn't check Rough Wall), just a bit cold and damp then - hence wanting to get down a bit sooner.....................

I think if you pick your routes it will be fine, that side gets very little sun.
