I usually use A Different Gear in Meersbrook but they currently have a 2-week waiting list.
Anyone have a recommendation from a shop that isn’t ridiculously busy? Thanks!

I've used Bike rehab in town in the past and they've been pretty good - they are likely to be busy though :(

Know someone who uses this place. No idea how busy they are.

Cheers guys. Got it booked into Bike Hub next Wednesday. Pedal no availability until 9 October!

Always Butterworths on Abbeydale Road

If you have the time, it's often worth buying the correct tools and learning to do the job yourself. YouTube is your friend. It might not be any cheaper the first time, but you'll still have the tools and skills next time around.

Specifically the Park Tool (https://www.youtube.com/@parktool)channel.

I was about to say this - he will give priority to cycle commuters if he's busy and you need it for work

The other Butterworths in Hillsborough is worth a go too! Its not run by the family any more but by Mike & Henry (used to be a decent climber back in the day) & theyre very good

I've been using Anthony Croft for 3 years. https://bikerepairsheffield.co.uk

Thanks for other recommendations.
Bike Rehab service was pretty impressive. Both in terms of speed of getting the work done and communications (real person and email/text updates).
Got the impression they’re a pretty slick operation.
