In another thread...
As an aside nearly every time I try to move pages I get a blank screen, anyone else?
I've been getting similar problems to this too for two days, but not on every navigational move I make about the forums and no discernable reason why (e.g. its not just going into video threads which might be loading lots in the background, although usually they load fine).
Hitting refresh (F5) a couple of times usually sorts it, but it doesn't always and going back a page and then clicking the link agian solves it.
This is on Firefox 38.0.5 under GNU/Linux, no idea what browser Dense is using.

I'm getting the same issue through chrome...

What version?

I (predictably) have no idea... Expect a fairly recent version?
-
Ditto. Most recent W version.
-
I've tried to reply about 3 times, but can't as having same issues!

Top right hand corner there should be a little button with bars on, click on it and a menu appears, at the bottom is "About Chrome" which will tell you the version.
Ditto. Most recent W version.
W-version of which browser, Safari on OSX? Most versions are numbers?
The purpose of collecting details of what browsers the problem occurs on is that it helps start diagnosing the cause. If for example it only happens on Firefox > 38.0.4 then its quite likely to be something in the new browser thats the problem. If its all browsers > than certain versions then it may be an underlying shared library that all newer versions are using. If its all browsers all versions then its more likely that its something on the UKbouldering.com server side of things.

Same problem on Opera too

Version 43.0.2357.124 m
-
@fatneck : Thats the most recent stable version of Chrome (there are more recent Beta versions available, if the problem was seen under one of those I'd suggest rolling back to a stable release).
Looking like its a problem on the server side.
-
Happened to me trying to navigate to this page!
IE 8.00.7601.17514

I agree. I've the same problem on my Mac (10.9.5) using Safari (7.1.6). My guess is that is a problem with the SQL server.
-
Same problem here, using Chrome 42.0.2311.111 on a tablet.
-
Also occurring for me, seems most repeatable when opening links in a new tab by middle clicking or ctrl clicking.
Linux Chrome Version 43.0.2357.125 (64-bit)
-
Misbehaving on latest Chrome, Firefox and IE for me (Windows). Safari on iPad. I guess you don't need another Me Too! post :)
-
Server's gone all Taylor Swift.
-
Keeps shaking you off does it?
-
I blame the Atom Bomb.
-
I blame the fracking in British Columbia.

Blank Space.

It's all to do with Denses penis. Overloaded the server.

Getting the same problem with Tapatalk, but Safari always seems fine (i switch across as soon as there's a problem).

All that needs is a Retweet by whoever runs @ukbouldering.

Still an issue for me. Chrome 41 on Win7.
-
Still happening here too on Firefox-38.0.5 under GNU/Linux.
Cleared cache and restarted but it had no effect.
-
Appears fixed today, thanks Bubba/habrich/shark.
-
Have experienced instances of blank pages in the last couple of days. Using IE9 and Chrome v43.
-
Yep - me too, Chrome 43
-
everythings been fine for me. must just be you lot :P
-
This may be related to the regular server memory errors I get when viewing with tapatalk
-
I've had it loads. Next time I hit it I'll work out what's going on, but actually I don't think it's a blank page: it's more like the server is overloaded and not returning any content, except if I load it more by pressing F5 in a rage, it eventually serves me...
