Title: Shamra at Malham
Post by: Tim Broughtonshaw on March 04, 2009, 11:50:45 am
Ok then who's got the complete story on what he got upto? I've heard a couple of slightly differing stories, which are missing a lot of detail, but a onsight of raindogs was discussed,

additionally he did get on rainshadow and apparently wasnt having any problems on it.  :o

Cheers
Tim

In a similar vein does anyone have the low down on what he got up to at the Tor?

And I'd imagine Magpie is wondering if anyone got to squeeze him (or take a picture of his ripped back ;)).

ok well ive heard that he did onsight raindogs as a warmup, and apparently did large sections of rainshadow. Although it was a bit wet. Sounds like he would have ticked it given some dry conditions.

Magpie saw the man in question, in person, last night and now realises that some dreams really are way better in your head.  :'(

Edit:  We are talking Sharma rather than Shamra as in the title, yes?

In hindsight; it was probably asking too much that he was super hot, a climbing beast and had a personality.

Bless him, he seems like a nice enough bloke but there's bugger all about him in person, I was most disappointed.  :(

Don't suppose you got a conditions report for the rest of the crag while you were getting the gossip?

Pretty dull really, wasn't it?

To be fair, I didn't expect much better. The first half was so bad.

Well, when I was  15 I climbed all the hardest stuff, then I was like "what do I do next" so I went travelling and climbing. It's hard life on the road, blah, blah, blah.  :wank:

No  for sharma anymore.

Everyone's said pretty much the same thing really, bit of a let down.  :(  I think he should give up talking and just crush stuff, with his clothes off ideally.  :-*

I thought you were there; did you have a green jacket on?  I nearly came over to say hello and then decided I'd look pretty daft if I had the wrong person

Haha, yep, that was me.

He seems like a sound guy, just not a natural public speaker.

Crushing is definitely more his forte! he still gets a  for his abilities on the rock!

For sure, for the sake of being a nice person I fully intend to continue perving on him as much as possible, even though I have given up the dream of following him to Spain to make baby Sharmas  ;)
