My back is playing up again (years of direct trauma) and I'm thinking of investing in a TENS machine, has anyone any experience (other than the women viz a viz child birth) for using one for back pain?

I thought your answer to back problems was to see any passing orthopaedic surgeon and get them to chop something out.

The TM2 model is cheap and reliable and better than most as its basic and fully adjustable.

facile and pointless.

My Dad's suffered with his back for years, he thinks all docs are quacks and won't go to physio but he does use a tens machine and finds it really helpful, it's about the only thing he'll tolerate! Can't give you any specific recommendations I'm afraid but can say that for him, it is a really useful tool in managing pain.

Not sure about backpain, but if you put one on your wrist, and the other on a friend's, then put the power on full, it makes for really fun thumb-wars.

Or you get a load, put them all over some ones legs and walk them around like a robot. (dont do this)
