Title: Audacity, right choice?
Post by: patters on November 29, 2009, 06:59:51 pm
I'm looking at editing a song, nothing complex, just ending up with something along the lines of the following...........(Voice over) '5,4,3,2,1 - Go', then some pumping techno music for a set period of time, then (Voice over) 'Rest', then '5,4,3,2,1 Go' again and so on....
For training purposes, running intervals etc. What do you guys reckon would be good software for this? And hopefully free/very cheap. I'm using Mac OSX. Found Audactiy (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)) after a quick google, anyone got any experience with it?

Yeah, its good, free, and will do what you want. I don't have much experience with anything else mind.
