Can anyone hazard an (ideally informed) guess as to conditions at Forwyn tomorrow? Has it seen a lot of rain/seepage over last few days?
Thanks in advance!

guaranteed to be minging I'm afraid bro, might be the odd dry bit of rock, but I'd head to clwyd as it's breezy and gonna be pleasant as opposed to humid and seeping
-
Thanks Gritter. Hadn’t thought of Clwyd, it’s been a long time since I was there.
Any knowledge about Llandulas cave?
-
Similar deal to Forwyn some dry rock but a fair amount of seepage. Best bet is SW facing and high up, lots of options at Clwyd 8)
-
Kind of surprised it’s seepy as I always thought it was quite a dry crag. Shame as I was thinking to go at the weekend.
-
I can't comment on Forwyn as I've only been once (last weekend!) but I have to disagree with Gritter about Llanddulas. It barely seeps.

Forwyn dries out more slowly once the leaves are out, but it is windy and warmish so it might be ok, slippy as ice on the lichen though if it is damp. Dunno on exact weather/connies though as I’m not based just down the road anymore since moving to beris.
Teal wall a decent back-up option if forwyn was damp, decent E2-4’s and 6s/low 7s, should be dry.

Thanks all for your replies, looks like there’ll be something on in that area tomorrow.

Forwyn will be like climbing inside a freshly discarded prophylactic

I was ferreting around at Ruthin yesterday in a thunderstorm. Stayed mostly dry under the steeps. Quite a bit of rain recently in NE Wales so it might be the seepage that’d get you.
