Pre online-entry closes 28/2/15
I assume this should be 28/1/15?
-
Oops! Yes, should be 28/1/15 for closure of on line entries.
-
Hi Neil, when I go to the entry page online at cragx it enters postage (an extra £2.95) on top of the entry price, which doesn't seem right to me.

This has now been fixed.

I popped in this lunchtime and there are some great problems set for tomorrow.
Obviously I'm not doing it but looks like it will be good if you are
-
Does anyone know what went on? I seem to have been sent the results from the 1998 comp!
-
Looks like a lot of people chose the manchester comp instead.
-
Dense, your results are right. Some octogenarian called Ben Moon won the men's comp. Quite convincingly too. Ella Russell won the women's competition. It was a very good day, and busier than last year despite the clash with rocfest. There'll be a video online soon where you can see that no matter how old he gets, Ben will always be Ben Moon, and the rest of us will never be Ben Moon.

Moony Moony Moony
-
I love this. Is there footage around?
-
Ignore me, stu already answered the question
-
Gutted I missed watching Ella take the win, hopefully the prize money went on curry like last year?
-
Form is temporary, Class is permanent.
-
Much as I think that this is totally amazing and like Dense it takes me back to the heady days of the 90's, can the Foundry regulars / yoof of today please note that the last two "Kings of The Wave" have been an injured Yorkshire interloper and a 49 year old man. Buck up!
P.S. Ben Moon! Legend.
-
Well, where were you Nige? I'm trying my best but I'm only so good. I just hope they keep clashing with big comps so we don't have to put up with Barrans owning the crown.
-
Paul - hard to blow £400 on curry but I reckon Ella tried her best.

In the pub probably. I'd only be good on the wave if you climbed it on the back side anyway. Joking aside, there is never any shame in getting out climbed by Ben Moon is there?
-
I think he could probably out climb me in a zimmer frame

:2thumbsup:

Any news on this video? I'm keen to watch old timers beat the youth (so I can convince myself that getting older doesn't matter).
-
It only doesn't matter if you are Ben Moon, everybody else is doomed.
-
Even if your surname's Atkinson?
(Edit: I was hoping you'd be biased and say no as I'm also an Atkinson)
Better get my shoes posted up in the for sale forum.
-
It's even worse if you're an Atkinson. It's been scientifically proven. Sorry.

Nice video. Good to see Ben and Jerry at the end, Jerry must be pretty psyched for him.
How easy did that crack look though? Midgets, tell me there was a V10 move to get into the crack or something...
-
Sorry Fiend,
It was about V3 to get into the crack, and about VS from there. Just don't ask Ethan about it...
