Title: Remote Shutter Release to Start Video - Nikon D3100
Post by: b3n99 on December 04, 2011, 01:05:22 pm
So as the title suggests I'm a bit lost searching for something that may not even exist so i thought someone might have some experience. First of all has anyone got experience of a remote shutter release that is compatible with Nikon DSLR's and also works for starting video? Also are there any remote shutter releases that work for the Nikon D3100 as different sources tell me different things.

Cheers

Does the standard ml-l3 remote not work?

I scoured the web too. Went into Harrisons cameras the other day and the blokey in there seemed sure nothing existed yet. (I was looking for d5000 though, I assume it's a similar shutter release)

I know you can do it via USB, laptop and freeware, As we use this at work for time lapse pics on both a d3100 and first tested on my d5000...
