I had ME/CFS for several years in my teens, and still have issues with getting very easily fatigued even when I'm "fit" overall. So a lot of this is awfully familiar, and anyone dealing with it has my deepest sympathies.

Learning to 'pace' when you've lived most of your life full on has been easier than I thought it might. The consequences of doing too much and your baseline dropping yet again is not something I'd like to suffer again. Pacing it is.
PEM is hateful.
