This smart crag is just below the top path, way past the Boss Cave / Quarryman’s Kitchen and just before the 99 steps down to the road. You are above the Railway and Totley tunnel at this point of Yarncliffe edge. I found this fine wall last year whilst prospecting and it was again minging dirty with lichen & moss. After several cleaning sessions we sent all the main lines in April with a few eliminates & sit starts possible.
It's a really nice spot and well worth a visit to watch the sunset from. I put the details on UKC if anyone wants to head there: https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/yarncliffe-110
Solitude Standing Crag
1) Small Blue Thing (f3) - The smaller left-hand slab is a nice warm up
2) Move in light (f3) - The stepped left Arete of the taller slab
3) Solitude Standing (Highball f4 or Severe 4a) - The lovely long Slab is fun.
4) Find the shape (f5+) - Takes the nice & obvious rising slabby arete from low down, following its ridge and groove.
5) Days of Open Hand (f5) - The wonderful rightwards scoop from the small overhang has a lovely flow
6) Waken to the dawn (f5+) The right side of the groove by the overlap
7) Marlene on the Wall (f6a) - The Eliminate Wall from a low start
8. In the Eye (f4+) - The smart wall using the hole and pocket above
9) Silent Sunrise (f4) - The groovy and chunky flake system to the small overhang is a great final problem on the wall
10) Sing into the wind - Project (f?) - Low Traverse of the wall
All climbed by Simon Jacques, Andy Hutchinson & Lee Meadows

Edit: Just saw Butters involved too, lol, that's cool, the old skool team!
