Title: Big Gay Bear, Burbage, 7C
Post by: b3n99 on August 10, 2015, 12:38:52 pm
Saw this logged on Tom Newman's scorecard on 8a.nu and wondered if anybody knew what it was?

(Googling lead to unrelated, unwanted but not surprising results)

It is essentially a direct start to the E5 Big Bad Wolf at Burbage South. I've tried it before, it's not easy for 7C! It's an overhanging scoop with a huge lock off a sloper.

Just left of Ned's recent sitdown then?

Yes exactly, left of Thick End of the Wedge (BTW the consensus on this seems to be 8A now rather than 7C+). I Imagine it drops off at the break as the landing is bad for the upper bit.

I think Tom said he topped out right into Home Cooking.
