Why does it always come to this kinda shite comment? With respect, Chris, pro surfing is pretty much all a sum of Being a Great Surfer + Being a Great Media & Sponsorship prospect = Successful pro surfer. From what I've seen.

If I had that kind of talent in the waves, I'd be milking it for all it was worth so I was as rich as possible by the time I'd inevitably fall off the pedestal one way or another.

Was a bit of an off the cuff comment, but she is a bit notorious for milking her looks in the same way that some other female sports stars have done. There are also many female surfers who have had massively successful careers without having to do this. Demonstrated thus.

I did miss her off, I couldn't remember how to spell her name. Have googled imaged her, you're right about the underwear shots. Despite how fit I think girls look in ski/snowboarding clobber the pictures don't quite have the "wow factor" of your surfing ones!

(I fogot to say thanks for the boarding vid recommendations for the missus cousin so, erm.... thanks! It was hard not just buying them for myself and the missus failed to pick up on the ski DVD hints I dropped.)

As I've said before, a DFBWGS thread is (a) like shootin fish in a barrell and (b) a little unfair to our fair climbing ladies. The thril of the Lagerbot and the 'is she really all that?' debate is overwhelmed by the terrabytes of surfing fanny accessible at the click of a 'girl bikini surf' search on Google images.

And to make matters worse I've been dropped in on by several of these harpies in the tropics as they use the 'pull my dental floss bikini bottoms from my arse crack as I paddle into the wave in front of Falling Down even though he has priority' trick to distract me from my waves.

FWIW, I don't wear a leash with my longboard at all - it makes you pick waves and surf much more carefully and not bail your board = less of a hazard in the water and more waves for other people.

There's not much on a surf board to catch things on I'd have thought, so I'd imagine she'd be ok, but then I've only ever surfed twice and both times worn wet-suits.
