I thought I'd draw to your attention that the trees shading the left end of the crag have been removed.

good on them, im hoping darkside and county ethics are in the sunshine as they are never dry/clean.  might see a few more ascents round that area now

we were going to go last night but got rained off, but aparently they have cut the trees right back to the fence so fingers crossed lots of light ill try get pics

I'm assuming its been done ground-up/highballed now?  as a lot of people have headpointed it, non?

well banks did it years ago, presumably ground-up or thereabouts.

As far as I know:

Cubby top roped it first then lead it with poor rock n roller/s.
Then ten years after that, Andrew Earl top roped it first then soloed it above a pile of pads.
Then one or two weeks after that, I top roped it first, then soloed it without a pile of pads.
Then this year Adam Watson soloed it above mats, but I don't know if he top roped it or not.

There could well have been more ascents obviously, and in my opinion it's not E7 and certainly not 7c+, but I'm happy to take the grades.

is correct.
now that its uncovered i want to see darkside get repeated if its EVER dry enough
