All of this would pale next to a list of Forest of Dean sandstone esoteria. How would you even begin to choose which route was more obscure than the next.

Done one....a "classic" VS at the "classic" Huntsham crag. It was E1 and made the Churnet seem like Stanage Popular End 

Having said that, Shadowlands did look brilliant and is on my ticklist...

It's an overstarred area, but that's not a phenomenon exclusive to southern england by any means.  I've done a few over starred things north of the border too recently.  I can't help but think that Brown and Whillans would've utterly destroyed Clifton Crag in an afternoon for example, that is if they didn't just dismiss it out of hand. 

Having said that, Shadowlands did look brilliant and is on my ticklist...

It is a unique `concept route', worth a moment of madness.  People are bigging up the bouldering here again, now.

I had a day at Huntshams by myself last year and actually genuinely really enjoyed it. I also did My Comfy Nook at Coppet Hill this summer (perhaps a touch overstarred but also undergraded, I can't believe this would be E3 5b anywhere else and I thought it was as hard as Late Riser) and will definitely go back to both - Coppet Pier looked ace. Went to a very damp Chase Wood, it was too wet to climb and I doubt I'd go back there over Huntsham. Knacker's Hole looks good in the guide though.

A true Staffs Obscurist would surely be able to tell you when you're climbing in Staffordshire or Cheshire at Bosley cloud.

OMG. This is so sad but the answer is:
Follow the drystone wall slightly south of the trig point. This is the staff/cheshire border and if followed north, probably goes right though White House Crack.
I'm off to hang my head in embarrassment...
