Camcorder editing software
September 17, 2008, 12:58:56 am
so what do you all use to edit your footage,
ive got my hands on a copy of adobe premiere pro CS3 but its a little complex and wont let me import mpeg files :S

and im looking for other software people have used, for example sony vegas pro looks decent,
what will allow me to edit HD videos in a straight forward way, im al right at photoshop and can get used to working with difficult workspaces but adobe premiere is to annoying.

any recommendations?

8 I believe. Its nice and easy to use but I've heard that you can do more complicated things with Adobe.

I like Adobe.  Does my HD straight from Camcorder (I'm lazy) and has all the features you could want (Unc, correct me if I'm wrong).

Vegas 7, but I don't shoot in HD.

I can find you some decent tutorial videos for the Vegas family.
