I have an important question about grit/lime calling.

Can both be 'in'/allowed/called at the same time - or is this an either-or situation?

I asked a simple question - and seem to be unable to get a clear answer....

I thought you lot were experts and to be trusted!

;)

They are koans for you to chew over so you might arrive at a deeper truth

I think your use of koans allows me to call you a choad... ;)

Well after greasing off at Mother Cap last night and I think the tortoise is still fast asleep. Although humidity might have been a contributing factor.

Was alright at bbg S today - but not 'good'. A way to go still methinks... Esp as the lime is all so dry...

 :agree:

Normally in the fortnight running up to the call I can feel a stirring in my bones. Not quite there yet.

It's great to be out on the brown stuff but it's still boiling, little wind, lots of midges and too much bracken!

Been doing trad lamping sessions, and it's spot on. Nowhere near cold enough for bloddering though.

I climbed at both Burbage and Raven Tor today, conditions definitely better at the Tor.

At least another month.

Sixteen fucking degrees today. All you pasty types had better keep your heads down, if it carries on like this I'll have to sacrifice a sport climber.

Have to say that this is not the worst time to be going through a dearth of outdoor climbing opportunities.

I sacrificed the volar plate in my middle finger for an extension of lime season, that's how selfless I am...
