With the lime caller climbing E7 on grit before the call and total confusion amongst the scrittle populous I'd say this is worse than Dobbin's Facebook lime call egg drop.

LOL!

The grit was called yesterday morning, after consuming an heroic dose of Amanita I was able to commune with him with the cocked leg and we ran through khute til it was done. Unfortunately due to the almighty hangover, the queue wanting to drink my piss and the vagaries of French mobile data that I was unable to post til now. Enjoy.

Ps anyone who mentions either sport climbing or cheats on this thread will have their permits revoked. That is all.

Very good that will learn them.

Jasper it was waaaay too hot for a beanie you cockmuncher.

Flipping mint in Nidderdale in this evening.

Is that playing heads or tails with a Polo?

If a call is made in a forest, and nobody is there to hear it etc etc

You're not likely to get the call this week, as the caller has deserted his station and is living it up in Font at our expense.

That explains the sudden drop in temperature and blue skies over Paris which I can look at wistfully through the office window.

I stood on a scaffold this morning, wind blowing, not enough layers, winging and moaning - bloke I'm with said "I thought this would be the perfect weather for you climbers".

Roll on weekend.

So the odious grimestone has been called.

And yet, of an evening, in the shady places of the Earth, cool conistas still persist on the scrittle, and a cold snap could strike at any minute. I don't feel like we're quite at the end.

This is a very serious question. Can the two seasons co-exist? Does the calling of one season spell the end of the other.

With all this talk about national security, the future of the economy and uncertainty about the NHS; it is important to remember what really counts

I've noticed a few strawberry plants producing flowers and fruit in the last couple of weeks

domesticated plants in front of our house and wild plants at Forge Dam

Absolutely mint at Earl's Seat yesterday in the Easterly breeze.

Absolutely rubbish at Simon's Seat yesterday in the shelter and sunshine.

 :chair:

(also there is a video floating around of an 8B climber not flashing a 7A+ on big holds, surely that counts against)

I predict only the striking of the clock moving back one hour will herald in a new grit season
