It was all dry, it was more it's orientation that let it down today. Perhaps a good winter venue.

Ah, I see. Best in winter but the top can remain damp, needs a dry spell especially the stuff around Dick Williams which only sees the sun very first thing.  Sheltered in the trees too on windy days.

Same same although the bulk of that was beneath the covers.

Calling of the resin for sure.

:D Ha! Is the Indy turning into the new Daily Mail for its weather headlines...

Ten degrees outside at 6am (according to the car) - could be summer with those temps. Back around tortoise watchers...

Mrs Starfish has been moaning about getting the central heating fixed

getting her a new hat and jumper for her birthday in November, so she'll be fine

Where are you? Not been above 10 degrees all day in Airedale (8 now).

Its circumstantial- but a flock of Geese in Flying V formation just flew over MrsTT's house in South Manchester. Obviously getting too cold for a latte sat outside in Didsbury so they're off to even more exotic climes...

The wild hunt over Didsbury. A good sign.

The tortoise barks!

Tomtom those might have been the same geese that were over Gruinard on Thursday evening. A portent indeed!

The geese are a sign of times to come. On Saturday, at Goldsborough, I was treated to the sight of thirty geese flying overhead. Ten minutes later, the temperature plummeted and conditions suddenly improved. It is a sign.

(Ten minutes later still it bucketed it down, but at least I was still able to work Beth's Traverse...)

Midgy and sweaty in the sun at Burbage N yesterday with the ice cream van doing a brisk trade. Two hours later down by the Sloper Traverse at AN and it was proper baltic hands in pockets scenes. Close but still no cigar...

once the Pink-feet are on the move, and the dahlias are dead, its bouldering season.

Quote from: Johnny Brown on Twitter
Finally saw a Harrier in the Peak today - a ring-tail over Ringinglow bog, then a big skein of Pink-feet headed East at dusk. Magic.

What does it all mean?!
