Been on't grit for the last few weeks, had some good sessions with good temps.

I miss Dumby though  :'(

We all do. I heard a rumour it has washed into the Clyde?  :(

What a ridiculous idea. Nothing gets washed anywhere in Glasgow.

No no, far too warm in the sun today. Still time to do some last minute training.

Good sesh at stanton and cratcliffe last weekend, baking at chick factor but fairly mint in the woods.  Shady grit is where it's at for the time being.

first day since the summer where the temp hasn't reached double digits all day. Is this one of the signs?

The rock was made of velcro today, and my fingers were made of the corresponding velcro. Best conditions in a very long time.

Well I made the long walk down to Khute early this morning. Its a younger man's game running down there every dawn on the off chance, but thankfully him with his highmost step was there to meet me, and we did it by right ways.

Enjoy folks!   :2thumbsup:

Hooray! Now I can climb on grit legally again. Not that bouldering on lime holds as much appeal in Yorkshire anyway!

Don't worry Dob, I'm sure Anston will stay dry for a few more weeks, and there's always Stoney ;)

Heated windscreens are a stroke of genius.

Loads of snow on top of Cairngorm.

Ah yes - a slightly warmer weekend. Then the apocalyptic winter that the Daily Mail has been promising us for 6 months will come. Along with a plague of locusts and a deluge of frogs and greggs pasties will fall from the skies causing havoc on Britains roads... as of course, like every year we're not prepared for amphibian/pastry product based precipitation. Sort it out Cameron!

I've already hermatically sealed my Dragons so they need not be released until next april/may. Packed a set of mits in my bouldering bag, and given the thermos a pre season clean... Grit is on. Just got to get some time of work first... arse.

And then Summer? Yeah fucking right....

Quit moaning... You chose to move to the wettest place on earth :ras:

The link above fails to recognise that there are in fact only 2 seasons: Grit and Lime...

I, for one, welcome the call....  :great:

:D
