I'm considering taking a contract in Lund, but can't find any info about climbing there, other than a site saying it's surrounded by rolling hillsides.

anyone know owt?

will i find anything that betters my current didsbury to hoson moor commute?

clearly not better, that would be impossible.

just a home to crag commute that doesn't involve the the traumas of mottram traffic.

anyway kjugekull seems to be a 40/50 mile drive away, which'd be ok

i sometimes go that way but generally by the time i've got from wythenshawe where i work to past stockport the traffics already beaten me down and i can't summon the energy to take the short cut.

there's a good one through marple as well

Going from Mancunia the best way to Wimberry is through Ashton, the back way is only any good for getting to Hobby when the normal way is jammed with traffic, usually between 6:30am till 9pm.

Head down the M67, turn off for Hyde, up the slip road, left at the lights, then immediately right at the next lights, follow this road straight on for a while, straight through the roundabout, and you come out opposite Hobson Moor road! Possibly the best jib ever.

Thanks. Must be good for Laddow and Standing Stones too.

Incidentally, it was bitter in the curry mile this morning. Winter arrives.

Theres a quick way of getting to Laddow, seems like a long(ish) walk from which ever direction you park up

there's no escape from the back wall traverse.

I always end up defeated by the Glossop traffic and slope off to Hobson Moor. This short cut could be like #A whole new world ......... #
