It's alright I managed to find fatboyslimfast and some other blokes he knew and had a good ride.
Although riding back to Crookes from Totley when knackered felt like a bit of a struggle.

after a near kidney wrecking dose of painkillers I could sleep on the shoulder!!

I'm sure i'll be out on sunday now

No riding for me tomorrow night, I'm taking my In-Laws back to Manchester Airport for their return flight to Oz.

Probably off up to the Dales on Sunday for a longer ride if anyone fancies joining me and Cofe.

This thread looks more like the curse of shuolder injuries - I was thinking of getting out tonight but my house looks like a bomb site, has no food in it and we only got back from Italy at 1a.m and now I'm back at work, oh and its bloody cold. I suppose its welcome back to reality. Oh well half day tomorrow.

fatkid, are you working the weekend? I'm struggling to find XC riders for cwm carn on sunday... i dont wanna go there on my own (everyone else - FBSF, bubs and mad boy are doing uplifted DH)...so.... can you get a day pass?

If not i reckon i'll bag it, norton cant go, neither jerry, graham, tlr or cofe !!!!

Soz fatdoc got to do some work at the weekend - well 6 hours anyway, shame as my slot is on Sunday, could probably make Saturday, but thats probably no good for you.

provisional plan is 17:30 to do some of the sheffield round trail (i mean walk) and then meet up as usual at 18:30 at the eccy woods meet point

it was indeed wet...

winter conditions prevailed, harsh...

i've seen better conditions in the middle of winter, incredible amount of water, i think the watertable is actually above the surface of the moors!!!

There will still be a water shortage the next time we get a mildly dry summer which at the moment is unlikely.

Time to drag out the winter kit from the bottom of those draws - and buy a rear light that doesn't fall off!!!

important ride for me, seeing shoulder doc thurs.... injection and MRI time.... it's not looking good... might be out of climbing for a month... biking probs OK... if injection no good and MRI as bad as i reckon it will be i'm facing 6 months of rehab, 10 weeks off work and a serious weight gain...
