Can I stop getting the you have a new PM emails? And if so how can I stop getting the you have a new PM emails?

I always check UKB before my email, so read all my messages then check my email and have literally several emails telling me I have a message waiting (I'm reet popular me). I've spent about 3.67 seconds looking at the setting but nothing leapt out at me as the thing to change. Any tips?

I'd suggest a 50:50 should be more appropriate. 

I personally have it set to show a pop up when I have a new message, otherwise I end up doing a VitaminK and not noticing I've messages in the in box.
