Andy Murray

Fuck me! His mental strength to come back from two sets down. I'm pretty sure the crowd had a fair amount to do with The improvement in Murray's performance, and the drop in Gasquet's.

Wow. That was a brilliant come back.

I'm not saying anything about being the new Henman, and never get any further than the semi's, but I'd be interested to see what he does next year.

Looks like he's been cranking a few one-armers there.

he said he'd been doing pull-ups with a 20kg weight round his waist. Only 20 kilos Andy? come on...... next time he visits his mother, I wanna see him on the campus board in my garage......
(Judy lives next door but one)

Yes I did, which is weird, but then again I know too much about spree/serial murder.

Anyhow, what's he done on grit?

Not much, thought he preferred clay.

Great to see him getting it together. His fitness has let him own in the past so the hard work seems to have paid off. He's always had the shots and a decent serve so with decent fitness he could get established in the top 10.

That said, having watched Nadal in the flesh yesterday, I think Murrays got a snowball's chance in hell. Yougzny didn't have anything in his arsenal that Rafa couldn't deal with.

"Muscle Man Murray" now...

the bbc just referred to him as a 'hunk' (Magpie lurking anywhere?)

It's nearly as bad as "Tiger Tim".... :wank:

I imagine it would be difficult to fit any more cock into that photo to be honest.

Did anybody else notice people driving around yesterday with England flags attached to their cars - as far as I'm aware Andy Murray is Scottish and England weren't competeting in any 'main stream' sports. Stupid chavs.

Its not really surprising he lost - but at least it gave the neurotic fat middle class women something to shout about.

It would have been nice if he just lost. Be (mildly) interesting to see Federer vs Nadal in the final.

Back to the gym Murray....

Not really bothered about tennis but I'd like to see Nadal win it for a change.

SHIT isnt that Spanish kev?  :-[

Beastly!
I agree with jasper, it would be good for Nadal to win this year, he was outclassed last year and this year he's seemed to have improved markedly.

Well as I said I'm not normally too bothered about tennis but that final yeaterday was one of the best sporting events I've ever seen. Proper edge of your seat stuff all the way through and such quality from both of them. And fortunately Rafa won.  :)

+1

I watched him against the Frenchman, I thought he was just obscene: all that shouting and grimacing.  I thought it was inappropriate for the occasion; celebrate by all means, but keep a fucking lid on it will you?

But, being a sadist, I did think it just perfect how he shut his trap sharpish w/ Nadal.  He wasn't going to get away w/ that shit there now was he.

As for his alleged muscularity.  Have you ever seen a greater streak of piss?

Humbug.
