Unexpected day off - anywhere dry?
May 29, 2008, 09:33:22 am
got an unexpected day off today - anywhere dry in peak/yorks? It's very wet near mansfield, although may be drying. Thinking of Widdop as not been there for a year and it's usually too far with little one.
Give me some good dry news guys.

the sun it out, so you'd think most stuff in peak would be drying, depending on the wind aspect. whats your rocktype of choice? if limestone, maybe rubicon would be the quickest drier (assuming it ever got wet).

Pleasley vale? Heard that doesn't take much seepage. Though it sounds like you are interested in further venues.

yes as I've not got family today thought it would be a chance to go a bit further. Just getting stuff togethe rnow. Think I might just do a bit of a grit crawl. As it looks like it's drying. Don't think I can be bothered to drive to Widdop. Cheers for replies guys.
