Now I know strange grade claims on 8a.nu aren't a new thing, but there's someone who's using 8a.nu to bizzarely inflate A few well known routes in the Yorkshire area. Personal Services and Comedy both claimed at F8a

don't think you're reading it right andy. on 8a you can only claim grades that the route/problem is definately not

I think what the chap has done is inadvertently omitted to put the correct grade in when entering his routes. 8a is the default grade so it would appear that he has simply forgotten to put in 7b for Personal Services for example thus instantly elevating it to the magic grade. Probably in a rush or something. I'm sure he will realise the grave consequences of his actions sooner or later.

That makes sense, otherwise he's going to get a shock when he tries a real 8a.
