Today shouldn't matter too much, its pretty cold out and there is a wind up too. Should be awesome conditions. Wind should keep midgies away too!

It's in the sun (when available) until around 2-3pm.

I was there 3 til 4:30 and it was great.  Bit greasy in the perma-greasy areas, but otherwise top notch.  Crag shaded, sun nearby, nice breeze.

Cheers for the info. Decided to go and build up a little endurance at Hobson Moor quarry (which I found out is a bit of a sun trap!) Will be visiting CyL VERY soon.
