really really far NW. Just about as far as you can get without treading water. Stunning area though, and so much quality rock.

Sandwood? really want to explore the far NW, looks stunning.

No Polin is right next door to Shiegra (one of the best trad climbing spots in the country IMO). Sandwood is quite a hike or an easy blast on a mountain bike. There is so much there. I have been going on a yearly basis since I moved here, and still discovering amazing stuff. Found some superb bouldering on the headland just south of Oldshoremore that needs further exploring with a mat and a spotter.
