...i could think this song is about me...
i really like that pic, it tells alot about me, really. it has something vaguely sad, or very serious, that's why i used it.
apart from being the vainiest man on earth, obviously.

I think I approve but I can't really tell until you post me a larger version so I can look at it properly.  :-\

The polariser would darken up the sky a tad

I wouldn't bother - its shot fairly wide, which would darken the sky unevenly, second the sky is dark enough already being in mountains with clear air and a high horizon, thirdly it would increase contrast and block up the shadows in the foreground.

Finally hitting the rock again after a 6 month layoff. A new spot in North Sydney. Not as low as it looks

I loved the bouldering around Sydney, the forests are so fecund.

Isn't it a mite sweaty at the moment.

I like the bush too - I'm just not so keen on some of the things that live in it!

Only been mid to high twenties recently and not been too humid - Its off season now anyway and time for hunting out new problems, mileage and lots of easy problems (not that I can do anything hard now anyway)

Glad you are healing. Be back on form by winter? In the meantime, get out on that sponge of yours - sort out the shoulder muscles a treat.

I know that I am not Clare (at least not on this forum anyway!), but yes that is Sustenpass.

Thanks! I got cleared by the surgeon last week and he reckoned 100% success and fully healed now. I'd have to do something pretty catastrophic to tear it again. I'm at about 70% range of movement and the rest should return within three months. I'm pretty happy as that was just what I wanted to hear!

Got some time off for xmas so I'll be hitting the beach and the sponge will be dragged out of retirement.  8)

You may not be keen on one of my local areas then, I came across two of these today!

Just about needed a change of underwear when I found the first one sunning itself at the top of a short slab problem!

Had a Tiger Snake in the garden last week as well...which was nice.

I had a rattler encounter when I was bouldering on my own at Ibex in Utah. Shat me up good and proper.
