V?

Like dave said, the only necessary V grades are V Diff and VS.

given that picture i'm surprised that Team America (f*ck yeah!) bothered to offer their thoughs on E grades and didn't simply offer a V-instead.  :jaw:

Look I know this site is called UKBouldering, but that slab really doesn't look very hard. High yes, but it's covered in holds is it not?

D'oh?  Did you come off and land in that gnarly bush?

Good pics, kudos for getting out in that snow, looks baltic.

I was assuming "d'oh" was for failing to post the photos first time.

From http://bishopbouldering.blogspot.com/ Shawn Diamond on a rather highball 7C/+.

Also from the Bishop bouldering blog, regarding Tilly Parkins ascent of Stained Glass: "The send was ever sweeter for her, as she had a knee reconstruction and multiple surgeries in 2007 after tearing knee ligaments (LCL and PCL) and rupturing the joint capsule when a heel hook went horribly wrong."

I should say it went horribly wrong. Fucking hell.

Tilly is hyper flexible/mobile (can knock out the splits on demand etc) which may or may not have had something to do with severity of the injury and certainly slowed her recovery. She's a very strong girl and we can expect more big things from her when our conditions arrive again next year.

ha! i thought it was funny. On a side note a young canadian lass out there in February at the same time as me apparently got V-E-R-Y close on Stained Glass which impressed me a great deal, almost as much as her cuteness. sorry, no pics for the DFBWGC thread

<insert joke about coming off in gnarly bushes...here>

no i don't think it was her. she was a very petite and younger looking lass with a team of 6 or so climbers who had driven (!) down from Canada in a van. And i thought that Bishop from Jtree/LA was a trek!

"Finally with Vega I've found a high protein meal replacement shake out there that
not only works and taste great, but most importantly, is made with a
conscience that includes people and the environment!"

I can think of other highly nutritious "high protein meal replacement shake" that she might enjoy... :shag:
