Ah ok, that makes more sense, the lack of quoting what was being responded to which provides context confused me.

Camera angle isn't quite horizontal (check the horizon) but still a nice looking face.

Me! Me! Me!
This is my dws project that I've now been trying for over a year. This shot was my last attempt before stopping for winter (back in April), brilliant shot from Simon Carter. This photo is in his new book: "Rock Climbing Down Under".

I'm not buying the book. Buying the last one made me fly there for a holiday. Although the new photos I've seen of the climbing around Townsville where my brother lives look cool.

JackAus, that looks cool. What river is it on? I'm in Sydney for a year and would be well keen to get on some DWSs

I'd hazard a guess it's up the Hawkesbury somewhere by the look of it.

It's Shoalhaven, south of Sydney:

Be nice to give Jack a bit longer to get this line done though, he's spent an awful lot of time on it

Thanks guys! May well give it a look when it's been done.
Of course, I'm not a project stealing arsehole :p I love development myself, and the idea of people being inconsiderate enough to go up someone else's project when they've invested so much time, cleaning, sequence finding, etc. breaks my heart. There's plenty of unclimbed rock around the Sydney area, and no shortage of projects
DWS FA would be cool though. I'll have to go scouting for rocks.

Whereabouts in Syd are you? I'm around for a few weeks for work. Climbing most days.

They look pretty cool. :D
I'm based up in Richmond, but unfortunately don't have a car, so I'm relying on the keeness of people I meet to get climbing (been fairly successful so far). I'm guessing you're based more towards the city/South?

Morning of falling off stuff at Sissy Crag.
Penis Cling. First V9 in Aus I believe. 2 mover.
Travis. Sandbagged V7. Basically stuck all the moves now (3 sessions). Finally trying from the start.
Bowels of the Devil. 2 move V10. Much harder brother of a V7 I did there during the week...
