Nice pics Richie. Wonder what effect the fire will have; easier to get around, but maybe a bit boggier.

Said fire....

Might be just for cleaning, although the walls and arete to the right of the Celtic Symbol boulder are pretty high.

  • Old skool...with emphasis on the "old".
All these Gramps shots give me itchy fingers but then when I get up and hobble away from the desk I remember why I can't go... :wall:

With these and the gramps pics I am more psyched than ever to be heading down under in October, the next 2 and a bit months cannot go fast enough for my liking

Dave Graham and Nalle whatsisname are out here at the moment. Heres a pic of them trying a project. I'm heading out there next week so hopefully I'll run into them and absorb some of the waddage. Or just be shamed into trying harder......

people are inspired by different things. maybe paul spent 5hours trying to find it. looked up thought it was impressive then calculated the amount of time it could take him to do it in good conditions which are very rare on this boulder. remembered he's not really into high probs that much anyway, then calculated the distance to cape town hospital, then made a throwaway comment forgetting for a moment who he is and the nx thing he's being abused on the net for being out of his mind.
or maybe he did just think it was shit
