Not overley keen on the huge spoiler, but I suppose it's in keeping with the rest of the car's image!

Cheers man  :D

It's smart but I've got a slight problem with vibration through the steering wheel under high speed light braking  .

Apart from that though it's pretty mint. Very quick and the  TSL setup means it handles like nothing else I've driven.

Thing is, now I'm too scared to leave it parked out in the Peak !

You mean you get so excited under braking that you start to quiver? Strange, I'd go and see your doctor. And avoid stressful activity in the meantime. So lend me the car until you get your vibrating problem sorted out. I'll look after it well for you, oh yes!

Yeah, it might be that, or a slightly dinged wheel or something. It's not discs/pads coz I've just put new ones on after discovering the old ones were 'hot warped'. The AA inspection didn't discover this and it was only once I was thrashing it through the Peak I found out. Annoying really coz I could have knocked him down a bit more on price....

After your record with your Elise, you're not coming anywhere near it  :D

Do you know how to check if it got bad bearing?

Set your steering wheel to lock, jack up the the car so front wheel is off the ground.

Get your left hand at 12 o'clock position and your right hand on 6 o'clock position and move it about. If you can hear/feel clicking noise and that mean bearing is worn out.

No need for Bubba to jack up the front wheel to get it off the ground. The whole front of the car bounces 4 feet up in the air when he flips the hydraulics on. All the better to show off the undercar neons he has installed!

I must admit that I'm going to get a replacement bulb for the strobe that's not working  :D    I know it's boy racer but hey, it'll be good for getting people out of my way at night - they'll think it's some sort of plain clothes car or something. It's not *that* pimped up - no tinted windows you see?!

Cheers for that Avoiding, I'll give it a try if the other things don't work out. Some people say that grooved discs can flutter a bit when the pads first touch the disc but nobody seems to have a definitive answer.

you'll have to get a few speed garage CDs for cruising around with on, bitches in the front, bitches in the back etc etc.

It'd look quite nice in black, but that is one repulsive colour!

Like it  :D

I'll have to get my bike speedo piccied up - kind of hard to press the shutter at high speeds though.

I've seen a piccie of an old M5 at 155 - I guess you could do it byDuct Taping the camera to the wheel and using a cable release to take the pic without taking your hands of the wheel.

The Top Speed Straight is the place to do it - I've seen 140 going up in the car, and 165 going down on the bike, but the bike speedo reads about 10% over so nearer 150.

You'd have to get rid of it pretty damn fast in case you got pulled though - people have been done when the peegs played back their nice incriminating video footage.
