Together - Hardcore Uproar

808 State - Pacific State

Nice work on Sweet Harmony Dave, was listening to Ministry Of Sound - Back To The Old SKool on the way out to Curbar today. So, about an all time classic?

Go by Moby:

Or Felix - Don't U Want Me

If you take the you tube address but only use the bit after the "=", in your case CHfsz9YTTPo, you will get:

I was going to leave this stinking pile as I despise cheesey/pop and indeed the term Dance Music, so I'll think of this more as a guilty nostalgic sometime-pleasure: for what I offer is a stinking pile of Bonobo shit.

Sash ~ Encore une Fois.

Altern 8 - Active 8 was the first rave record I bought, immediatly after my first rave/pill in MCR. They were proper tunes in them days.

Now thats a fact and a half.   Occassionally you hear of some stupid strong things turning up.  Mickey Mouses of a year back were silly.

They should have been a bit special way back when. First one I had cost 30 quid! Now a days I gather you get 10 for a pound, or 20 for 5 pence or something daft.

nice one - i've got a ratpack oldschool studio mix on my phone at the mo, its dynamite. I've also got an old ratpack mix at home from about 1991 where halfway through the MC (Everson Allen?) stops the show to ask that someone move their red BMW out of the way of someone's warehouse doors so the five-o don't come and shift it. classic stuff.

My favourite rave MC line was (as the DJ collapsed behind the decks due to over indulgence):

Medics to the stage!
Medics to the stage!
DJ Lemmy's on the floor,
DJ Lemmy knows the score,
DJ Lemmy aaardcore!!!

Ok, here's a few gems:

Dance Consipiracy : Dub War - the last minute has melted many a head and some nice ruff beats for the time :)

Doc Scott : N.H.S. Disco Remix - lovely piano breakbeat

Urban Shakedown : Some Justice - great early Jungle classic

2 Bad Mice : Bomb Scare - oh yes!!

Zero B - Lockup :)

I could dig these out all day :) :)

Dunno if anyone else listens to the radio at work but Kiss are playing Old school tracks all day today.  You know what that means?  No RnB, like the good old days.
