Apparently there are some deleted goat scenes on the DVD of The Colditz Story.

Also in the original cut of The Great Escape, they had Steve McQueen trying to escape from the Nazis riding a goat. Sadly this was deleted, and replaced with some highly impractical and improbably motorbike stunts.

Students are the escape goats of littering.

I was about to post census data pointing out that Hyde Park is largely populated by 2 "groups". Student is one category and BME is another. I have seen representatives from both of these demographics in the park over recent days. I only refrained because it could be inferred that I was accusing BMEs of having a natural disposition of littering when really I wanted to say that it is not only students who both use and abuse the Park but other residents, regardless of race, as well.

I want to nominate Microshaft Orifice.
The background to this being; I'm currently writing up my final year project and in the middle of doing something it deleted excel from my computer. No worries I thought, I'll install another copy (with product key etc etc.). Now, this evening, when I've been trying to work/do something, this new version has locked me out saying it needs activating.

Bill Gates, you are a cunt.

Will OpenOffice not do the job? No payment required to MS and no requirement to activate it either.

Probably,as long as it likes massive documents.

Bill Gates is still a cunt though.

I don't disagree with this sentiment, but if you've chosen to use proprietary software and haven't purchased a license legally what do you expect?

Should have used LaTeX for your write-up, it makes beautiful documents (and more)  :)

Fucksticks who slow down to a virtual stop at roundabouts, even though there is a clear view for a mile up the road in every direction and there is nothing coming. In fact habitual brakers in general. You DO NOT have to break every time you approach any corner. No wonder your brake pads and fuel efficiency are fucked.

Ah, now that's the most irritating thing. As far as I can ascertain, the last version I installed was actually a legit version. The first time I don't use a copy, and see what happens? There's a lesson in there somewhere.

Two lessons....

1. Don't use M$ products as, unlike Ronseal, they don't do what they say on the tin, and besides there are plenty of free alternatives out there from the Operating system (viz. GNU/Linux and *BSD variants) through to individual software applications.

2. Avoid removing the closing ']' when quoting  ;)

I think that can be filed under the more general "dawdling cunts" who as a whole should belong in 101.

I'll add the "good samaritans" who drive down Ecclesall Rd, merrily letting all and sundry in from every bloody side-road when there's a clear road ahead, thus holding up everyone else behind them. I mean honestly...

I was going to nominate all the perfectly able bodied lazy cunts at my place who, in a mere 4 storey building, insist on using the lift all the time, even for just going down 1 flight of stairs. But then yesterday there was a powercut and someone got stuck in the lift for 30+mins. the lord moves in mysterious ways.

You found the fuse box for the lift?

I am especially incensed by the ones who use it to get to the back door to go for a fag. We have 3 storeys. I like taking the stairs at the same time thety get in the lift and making obvious that i am on the 3rd floor before them.

Bear in mind that if they were to try and climb three flights of stairs they'd be doing some serious heavy breathing.
