New nomination: Channel 4

For desecration of works of art. By this i mean censoring/editing episodes of the Simpsons all the time.

There should be a special, and particularly painful place for fuckwits like this guy:

http://www.theage.com.au/national/fire-divine-retribution-says-minister-20090210-83o9.html

I was in the burnt-out town of Marysville delivering emergency equipment yesterday (even had a police escort to get there!) and to say this guy would be wise to keep away from the fire-affected areas is putting it mildly. Allowing for most of you not knowing Marysville from Adam, this is the place:

http://www.theage.com.au/national/from-gods-garden-to-wasteland-of-death-20090211-84t0.html

and a plug if you can spare anything to help:

There's a strong relationship between arson and flashing; I heard this guy has also been charged with posession of child pr0nography.

Tangent.

Hugh Laurie.  House.  Unconvincing A-merican ack-scents, and his predictable descent to Hollywood.

Hugh Laurie: you're a slag.

Sorry Houdini but Hugh Lawrie is allowed an awful lot of House type shit as of his roles in Black Adder and Jeeves & Wooster give him a helluva lot of cred points.

So Hugh Lawrie out but House most definately in.

F*ckin councils running out of grit.... f*ck me we only use it 3 or 4 times a year how the hell can we run out? typical incompetant f*ckin councils run by a bunch of over paid wankers.  >:(

funniest council related thing i heard was that Gloucestershire CC recently bought in 5 tons of table salt (!) because their Irish salt supplier refused to send them any more!

I vote for Gloucestershire CC.

Following any BBC report of a soldier being killed they always end the report with "their family have been informed....".

Aaaaagh! Stop it ffs!

It's being reported on the national news, of course their fucking family have been informed. And to be fair, whether or not their family have been informed or not is irrelevant to the news item.

Car Dealerships
Garages
MOT Tester and the rest of them...

I can't imagine how it is possible to be in what is a highly competitive struggling business sector at the minute and still be as incompetent as some. My car went in for an MOT, bulb went on them so they changed it and it passed. Get back in to drive home, press play on L'etranger soundtrack.... they've managed to screw up the rear RHS of the speaker unit so that it resonates a lot during track 1, the same track I listened to on the way to the garage, perfectly. Now what are the chances that the sidelight they changed happened to be the rear passenger side (which requires the removal of said unit to change)?
Twats.

>rant alert<
Delta Airlines. Why can't this lumbering shower of shite that passes itself off as an airline just collapse into ignominious bankruptcy so I can raise a glass to the event. Now I know people will go on about all the jobs lost blah blah blah but 16 years ago they lost what was basically my entire climbing slide collection AND my 250 & 500mm Nikon lenses so I really don't give a shit!
Anyway, if nothing else I'd like to throw the entire airline, and particularly the wankers who ran their Atlanta hub back in the early 90s, into Room 101 where they can fester for all eternity!
>rant over<

I've been carrying all that anger round for all this time. I feel so much better now.  ;)

15 + years of pain there.

Can I nominate people who go to gigs and proceed to get absolutely arseholes, then stumble around causing a nuisance and paying no attention to the music whatsoever, but find it more entertaining lobbing plastic glasses half full of cheap shit lager they have paid too much for into the crowd. Surely they can just go to their dirthole local or shit provincial nightclub and do the same for far less.

Human Resources.

Easily the least useful / competant department in any given organisation.

Already in there (see below), but no harm in making sure the fuckers stay there.

Human Resources departments at work - universally incompetent.

And in at 9 is another entry for the Killers...
I had to sit through an hour of there so called flamboyant pop last night at the sheffield arena(I was on the guest list before you accuse me of funding them). Low points were the joy division cover and a new tune that sounded like sub Joshua tree stadium rock, also a new tune they did which was a reggae/funk/disco hybrid ellicited the response from myself 'well there all playing a nice tune, its a shame its not the same one'
Put it this way, the wife is a fan and we left at the encore because they had played all the tunes she wanted to.
Highlight of the evening for me was a can of Tuborg in the VIP area

Red Hot Chilli Peppers. (The band).

Any particular reason, seeing they've done bugger all for a few years. I think their earlier form more than makes up for more recent output.
