No complaints about the ride , white knuckle stuff all the way ..... My gripe is about the way they try to extort money out of you ....

One Day Like This.

I may live to regret saying this (after umpteen slow-mo shots of losers/winners at the paralympics/ryder cup/Lehman bro's bankers emptying their desks over the coming weekend), but I really like this song.

I've no idea who started it; though I'm sure it's only a matter of minutes before slackers informs us . . . but this one goes out to the scumbag who first coined this god-awful credit-crunch couplet.  The fuck!

I sentence thee to 101 years in a soundproof room w/ Sloper, his button stuck in Dangers of Socialism-mode.

The Old Joint Stock pub, Birmingham, for charging £6.50 for a guiness and an ale.

What is the UK coming too?

I disagree. I quite like Ms Nash's intonation and general sound.

She did fuck up BB's songs though; which was a wrong thing to do  :spank:

Feel free to disagree, but her accent is irksome, and she tries to disguise her lack of pitch but fails.  And her bum's fat too

I like Billy Bragg, Bob Dylan etc, people with strong accents.  But I really can't see the attraction of Kate Nash.  We need an adjudicator....  hOUD!!!!

I like the faults in her singing - but can see that overexposure can make this just plain annoying. She should have been kept non-comercial.

Persionally I think she belongs in 101 - poor attempt at being somebody like Adele or Lily Allen. "Foundations" was ok I guess but the rest of the album is awful. Terrible lyrics, bad singing.

 I was going to write that its more of an arse when your camera battery dies.  Its a good case for having a separate camera though  ;)

Trekking poles, innapropriate use thereof.

Great if you're carrying heavy load on rough ground, but if you're a middel aged rambler in the peak walking along paths you could drive a car along you don't need them! Just got back from the alps where i swear we were the only people we saw out walking without them. people were even using them around fucking town centre! Aaaaggghhh. it really does represent the fact people have got too much disposable income and that clearly outdoor shops/magazines are very good at marketing people products they don't need.

Inappropriate use, that reminds me.

I know we've already covered fat people (well not literally as that would take a fucking big tent) but I'd like to add........fat people who ride around on those mobility scooters.

They're designed for old people or the disabled and NO! being a fat cunt is not a disability, obesity is not an illness, get off your fucking fat arse, stop chomping pies and do some bastard exercise you greedy, lazy twat.

The sale of these things is a masive growth industry in America I know but the increasing use of them here is worrying. These people should be openly mocked in the street to discourage such behaviour.

When we are old and frail there should be plenty of second hand American mobility scooters that were designed for transporting those larger-than-nature-intended folks. Just think what it will be like to have all that power with only a normal size body to transport.

Bring on the Muscle-Scooters, I say!

(I am assuming that I will be able to halt my USA style growth pattern at some point)

Trekking poles, Camelbaks, innapropriate use thereof.

Great if you're carrying running the freakin' 'Marathon du Sables', but if you're a middel aged punter in the peak walking up to Stanage you are not going to perish from dehydration during the walk-in - even with that big wall wall rack that you're packing for Heavan Crack! I mean what's wrong with a old White Lightning bottle?
