Your nearest climbing is the Wye Valley which has lots of nice esoteric trad but little bouldering.

Anyone tried the Shropshire sandstone bouldering? Not sure whether to recommend it or not as i've never been.

I'm aware of your female power spots Lee ;) Might be worth heading down the Wye mate, I hear there's projects for the taking. Kill two birds with one stone eh (god not literally, that'd be horrendous).

That's your typical Oldham bird though isn't it?

Hereford isn't the ideal place for a boulderer - i should know i was born there ffs.

If you have transport Jen then head north to the Staffordshire gritstone - it's not a big drive.

As for the climbing yeah i have transport so might check out Staffordshire gritstone cheers, been to Cleevehill and Wintours Leap, some of its's not bad.

These are so much more than spelling mistakes.
Also it must be sweet doing all that high-fidelity sound stuff

Shropshire sandstone bouldering is pretty good, as a local area I'd certainly be happier with it than Woodwell etc. Best intro venue would be grinshill - go to the middle buttress first then explore. Nesscliffe is very good though the bouldering is a sideshow really, generally harder than the natural venues, especially on the fingers, and not enough top outs. All the crags I've been to in Shropshire are in lovely places too.

I'm from Worcestershire originally, and our weekends climbing involved the Staffordshire Roaches (good for trad and bouldering), or the Eastern Peak. It's only a couple of hours away.
