Hollywood just turns people mental I reckon.....why can't he just be happy being an actor? Very odd.

On the subject of Big Arn, I downloaded T3 last night. I've only watched the first half but its quite good!

Anybody out there a DivX guru? Adam?

That and the Hulk were off KaZaa (lite). Do you know owt about DivX?

The reason I ask is that T3 is in two chunks, when I burn the first one it takes ages to encode but is fine, yet t'other one creates a huge temp file, uses up all the disk and then falls over.

So I haven't been able to watch the second half yet.

Might give K Light a go then - dunno much about Divx but I've seen loads of guides online - I'd start here and there's bound to be an answer somewhere....

I have dowloaded loads of movies from kazaa-lite. there are a lot of fake ones but a lot of ok ones. I had donnie darko last year off kazaa and its not been out that long yet here (top film though). Thers only one site for info regarding movie nfo and thats :      www.dvdrhelp.com

used to be called vcdhelp.com but times be a changing. anyhow there's a new codec thats still in beta stage called xvid which shits all over divx for quality.
I've just got meself a dvd burner and there is so much shit to learn. The easiest way to rip and copy a dvd I know of is to use DVDdecrypter and DVD2one and then burn it with nero, easydvd creator or anything you want. So you can rent it and copy it in about 1 hour (or borrow it off your mates).

Also good crack & keygen site is www.keygen.us  lots of pr0n ads but hey, what ya gonna do?

A great program for copying DVD's is DVDXCOPY (you can find a full version in all the usual places).  I put my rental DVD in one drive, a blank DVD in the burner and hit copy. It does the rest for you - it's really really easy to use. It puts a 5 sec copyright notice on the front of the film but that's it - well recommended. It even gives options for removing extras, etc.

Cheers for all that, I'm starting to think that a DVD burner may be a good excuse to spunk some cash.

Too right - can recommend the Sony DRU500A - i've had hardly any duff burns.

Playing with bitTorrent today for finding movies - it's supposed to be great for big files but is running slowly right now.
